AN EXCLUSIVE TRADITIONAL SUNDAY LUNCH SERVED ON BOARD
Step back in time at The Strathspey Railway for a Traditional Sunday Lunch, served to you on board our vintage train. Enjoy sights and sounds from a bygone era as you journey through moorland, woods and alongside the meandering River Spey, with stunning Cairngorms Mountain scenery ever present.
Setting off at 13:00 from Platform 3 on Aviemore Station, through to Boat of Garten and then on to Broomhill, the 2 hour 20 minute (approx.) vintage train journey takes you on a 20 mile return trip along part of the original Highland Railway mainline.
The Traditional Sunday Lunch experience consists of a choice of 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts, and is finished off nicely with tea or coffee and a sweet treat.Our on board bar also has a fine selection of locally distilled whiskies and beers available for you to enjoy during this nostalgic train trip.
Please note that while our services are scheduled to be steam hauled we reserve the right to use a diesel engine without notice. Please see our timetable for our full schedule.
